In the wake of British Columbia’s recent provincial election, the Responsible Drug Learning Association (RDLA), a Richmond-based nonprofit focused on evidence-based drug education and prevention, urges the New Democratic Party (NDP) to lead with a balanced and comprehensive four-pillar approach to drug policy. This approach—encompassing prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and enforcement—has proven effective in supporting public health and safety. RDLA encourages the NDP to prioritize prevention education as a cornerstone of this strategy, creating a proactive foundation for addressing the drug crisis in our province.
